Not So Secret Service - #6674
If we selfishly, carelessly drift from Jesus, we pull others with us, risking their destruction. Forever. Off duty? As the face of Jesus to people whose eternity depends on believing in Him? God, help me to always - always - leave the light on for them.

The Rest of The Story - #6432
Think about that person you care about, or that person who's hard to care about. You can focus on what they're putting you through, or what they're going through. And if you'll get the rest of the story, you'll be just like Jesus.

Your Aroma is There Longer Than You Are - #6390
Your aroma? Yeah, it's there longer than you are, and the aroma that you should be leaving is the finest of fragrances. You should leave behind you a trail of joy, and peace, and blessing, making people feel important and listened to, cared about. Actually, what you should leave behind is the essence of Jesus.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Embarrassing Endorsements - #8254 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
They call them celebrity endorsements. You know, I see some athlete or celebrity in a commercial, using some product, and I’m supposed to think, “Hey, I like that guy. So I guess I’ll use their product.” Athletes, for example, can make major bucks from these endorsements. Here’s where the problem comes in. What if the guy you’ve associated with your product is suddenly associated with some not-so-nice behavior; like the Olympic star eating a certain cereal who was also allegedly photographed using marijuana? Oops! Or the singer with the chewing gum in his hand who suddenly is accused of not treating his girlfriend very well? Oops! That’s when endorsement turns to like embarrassment.

By their fruits - a Christian perspective
How can we tell if somebody is a Christian? Their "fruits"--actions--will clearly demonstrate if they are a follower of Christ. Nobody who truly loves Jesus will fail to try their best to imitate his mindset and behavior.

Actions - a Christian perspective
Sometimes its easy to separate our faith and our actions, but John tells us that our actions come out of our relationship with God. If we see one in need and we have the means to help them, how can God's love be in us? Our actions should resonate with our faith.

"Lord, lord" in the Bible: Matthew 7:20-21
Christians are identified as such by their actions, not by their words. In our actions it is clear whether or not we truly love Jesus, because if we really love him, we'll obey his commands to do good and serve others. Not everyone who merely claims to be a Christian is truly a believer.
