When You Charge, They Charge - #6577
Serving the Lord is much like football. As soon as you start gaining ground spiritually, the other side starts to come after you. When you charge, they charge. That's something to be aware of, but it's not something to be afraid of. Just keep running toward that open door, because you have the Son of God blocking for you.

Fighting the Right Enemy - #6486
Somebody said, "Christians are the only army on earth that form their firing squads in a circle." Maybe the devil has succeeded in getting you to start to criticize and waste ammunition on another church, or another denomination, or another Christian movement, or an organization, or on a brother or sister in Christ.

Controlled Avalanches - #6453
Deal with it while it's still able to be dealt with. Daily corrections are God's avalanche cannon. Get at the issue now. Don't wait until it comes crashing down on you.

Seeing What Your Opponent Sees - #6431
Find the scriptures that deal with that weakness as Jesus did, and be ready to quote the Word of God. Treat your weak areas with generous applications of the memorized Word of God.

Wired for Worship - #6425
Let me recommend that we begin our day getting overwhelmed by Jesus Christ; focusing all of our worship-ness, our fan mail so to speak, on Him. Evaluate...maybe are you a little too excited about some earthly star? See, you're wired for worship, but save it for the only One who deserves it.

The Deadliest Day in the World - #6176
Our sins have earned us the eternal death penalty the Bible calls hell. A hell which could be cancelled only one way. It took the Son of God Himself taking your hell; taking your punishment for you. You did the sinning, but Jesus did the dying. When a rescuer extends his hand to you in a burning or collapsed building, you don't wait to grab it. Your chance to live is now.

Why Did God Create Satan?
God created all things in the beginning, including Satan. Why would God deliberately create something so evil and powerful?

What role do you think demonic forces play in our world? Do you believe that Satan has a hand in everything, is mainly an impotent being, or doesn’t even exist?

Shaking the Snake That Stalks You - #5952
The next time the serpent comes your way, the Bible says, "Resist him." "I know who this is. I'm not falling for this again!" That's how you stand up to him. You claim the victory that Jesus Christ won over Satan when He died on the cross. Take your stand! Go to your Savior and unleash Jesus on that serpent. No compromise. No giving in. No accommodation.

Lion in the Bible: 1 Peter 5:8-9
The devil is depicted here as a prowling lion--quietly lurking and waiting to pounce when it spots weak prey. But his attacks can be resisted simply by standing firm in the faith, and remembering that we're not alone in being targeted by his wiles.
