Suddenly Interested - #6823
Lives all around you are prisoners of Satan and prospects for hell. There are Christians compromising all around you, embarrassing their Lord, betraying their Lord. Lives are being lost to loneliness and emptiness because they're living without knowing God. How can you sit here when there's a war going on?
Never Box With a Shadow - #6705
The enemy loves to have us waste our ammunition on each other so we won't get together to fight him. Hello! He's the real enemy.
Enemy Tricks - #6475
That darkness you're experiencing now, oh that's more than earth darkness. It is from an enemy who cannot stand resistance, but who is rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus Christ. So, make sure that you're fighting the right enemy and you're using the right weapons.
When You Feel Like Giving Up - #6216
Fix the leaks that could sink you, focus on the Lord who brought you this far, and fight for the lives that need for you to finish what you've started. Jesus didn't bring you this far so you could quit. He's counting on you, not to just start this race, but to finish your race as He did for you.
Your Time to Shine - #6167
When God asked, "Who will go for us?" Isaiah answered, "Here am I, send me" (Isaiah 6:8). Maybe you've been holding back saying, "Here am I, send him." Well, God is summoning you to step up for this one - like our grandson on that soccer field, making a greater difference than he'd ever made before, because he knew it was up to him this time. And this assignment from God is up to you. Even if there are defiant giants standing in the way. It's your time to shine! And you will. Because the battle is the Lord's.
Choosing Your Battles - #6116
Don't make every issue a battleground. Don't make everything a battle. Fight for the real issues, not over every incident. Don't try to settle issues based on an incident that's got everybody all inflamed right now. Deal with it at a time when there's not an incident. Save your ammunition for the battles that really matter. Above all, always check with God to see if this is His battle; one that He thinks is worth fighting.
"Fight" in the Bible: 1 Timothy 6:12
The Biblical exhortation to "fight the good fight," holding fast to the promise we've received through Christ.
