Love your enemy - a Christian perspective
Jesus frequently challenged human assumptions about justice and godly behavior. When enemies oppress us, our natural instinct is to hate them and seek revenge--but Jesus says that we ought to respond to their hate with love.

"Grow" in the Bible: Philippians 1:9-11
The writer of this passages expresses his desire that our love would "abound more and more"--in other words, that it would grow as we mature in the faith.
