"Never leave you" in the Bible: Deuteronomy 31:6
God comforted the Israelites with these words as they were about to enter the Promised Land, and as Moses was facing his final days. God's promise to stand close by us forever still applies to believers today.

"I will never leave you" in the Bible: Hebrews 13:5
What could possibly be more comforting than God's promise here to never leave or abandon us? It's a promise that no person could make to another, but when God makes a pledge like this, we can be assured that He will keep it.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
