Storm Chaser - Chased By the Storm - #6962
The Bible says, "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). For everything we've ever done that was wrong in God's eyes. Which leaves me no hope of heaven, except one. If I know somehow I won't face God's judgment. And, thank God, I know my sin has been erased by a sinless God because His Son, Jesus, took my judgment when He died on that cross.

Storming Home - #6896
The Bible says in Hebrews 6:19, speaking of Jesus, "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul firm and secure." And it often is not until things are out of our control that we understand we were never meant to run our lives. We were created by Jesus, for Jesus. He died to bring us back to Him, and maybe He is right now using your storm to blow you right into His loving arms.

What the Storm Left Behind
It is in those powerless moments that we realize, "I'm not enough. I can't do this." And we reach for the nail-pierced hand of the Man who took all the storm of the judgment for my sin - so I could go to His heaven. Jesus is the One who can finally calm the lifelong storm in a restless soul. With His stormproof peace.

Navigating Stormy Weather - #6370
Don't base your life on what's going to change in 20 minutes—which is your feelings. Base it on the Word of God which hasn't changed in 20 centuries.

The Weather Channel's Executive Producer - #5812
So when we're watching the weather on TV, we're watching the hand of God. He's making weather that will accomplish His purposes, to change plans, to direct our lives, to get people's attention, to chastise where necessary, sometimes to call people home, to protect us from making mistakes.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Killer Storm - #8145
Most of my life I have been trying to be a messenger of a warning that God has given to all of us—a killer storm that we cannot escape. ”Man is destined to die once,” the Bible says, “and after that to face judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Because we’ve all broken God’s laws and we’ve hijacked the running of our lives. We all face the storm of God’s judgment—certain spiritual death—unless we get out in time through the escape route God Himself provided.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A Killer Storm and a Calm Captain - #4336
A calm captain who has been through these fearful storms before, who knows everything will be okay at the end of the day, who has brought so many others safely through. Now, that's what makes the difference when it feels as if the storm is going to sink you. If you belong to Jesus Christ, you have such a Captain! That's why the writer of "Amazing Grace" could write: "Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come. 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home."

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Whale Bait - #3880
You can run by rationalizing, by blaming other people, by putting it off, by hiding behind excuses. But after all is said and done, you're just plain old disobeying your Lord. Here comes the storm -- here comes that big-mouthed sea creature.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Wild Weather - #8006
Actually, most of the storms in our life don’t show up on the weather channel. They’re the storms that hit our health, and our finances, and our family, and our emotions, and our relationships. And they hurt.
