The Good News of the Empty Glass - #6562
Don't give up; open up to be filled with Christ's strength. You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. Now, there's just a little of you, but that means there can be a lot of Him. If your glass is empty, that's good news, because you're about to be filled with Jesus Christ.

Swallowing What You Eat - #6517
Every day ask yourself the question, "What am I going to do because of what I read in the Bible?" And once you do that and start to make those changes, you are well on your way to an exciting new you; one day, one change at a time.

A Strong Sense of Season - #6472
I like what the Bible says in Colossians 3, "Whatever you do, do it with all your heart." And I really like what Jim Elliot, the missionary martyr said, "Wherever you are, be all there." See, things don't work as well when you do them "out of season." Each day, each week has seasons in your life. Well, do with all your heart what it's time to do at that moment and then God makes everything beautiful in its time.

Missing You - #6461
Isn't it time for you to renew a regular time to be with the One who loves you the most; to listen to Him as He speaks to you through His word, to talk about your real feelings and your real needs with Jesus? He cares enough about you that He can actually shed tears when His people won't take the love and the peace He offers and the time to be with Him.

Devotional : Obsessed with Distraction
We live in an amazing technological age. From anywhere and at anytime, I can read the news, watch a movie and check my email. We're more entertained, informed and productive than we have ever been. But what effect is this having on our relationship with God?

True Woman Blog: The Passage of Time
I have an oak wall clock from Germany which chimes every fifteen minutes between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. As I heard it chime recently, I was reminded of how quickly time is passing.

True Woman Blog: The Chiming of the Clock
As I’ve heard the regular chiming of my wall clock, the Holy Spirit keeps using the musical tones to remind me of the phrase found in Ephesians 5:16. I hear the clock chime, then “Redeem the time, redeem the time” runs through my heart and mind.

It Ain't Over! - #2581
You can't tell what God is going to do for a wonderful finish to this game. God has a way of hitting a bases loaded, grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth with two outs - if you don't give up before that harvest comes! I just hope you don't miss that grand finish because you gave up on the game too soon!

Time in the Bible: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22
This passages tells us that there is right time for everything. It's been immortalized in poetry and popular music, but it challenges us to look at history and at our own lives from a grander perspective. God is in control of history, and nothing occurs that He has not already incorporated into His plan.
