Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Why You're Waiting So Long - #4378
OK, here's my guess. Your Heavenly Father is working on something for you that you're going to love, but you're having to wait for it. And it's a long wait. And it's driving you crazy. In fact, you may be starting to panic and considering doing it your way instead of waiting for God to do it His way and in His time. There are millions of His children, living right now with the consequences of their impatience, wishing for all the world that they had waited for God's answer.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Danger of a Drifting Light - #4570
Whether or not you realize it, there are people watching your light. It may be your child, your coworkers, a Christian brother or sister, family members, folks you minister with. And for any person in your world who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you are the lighthouse or the lightship that may be their only hope of finding their way to heaven. If the light fails, if the light drifts, they will sail right into an eternity you don't even want to think about.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - When You Force it, You Break it - #4600
Right now, maybe there's something in your life that isn't working as you thought it should. Maybe the romance isn't there. Maybe you need to help God out a little bit, you think. Maybe the money isn't there and you need to figure out a way to help God with it. Maybe the future isn't working out the way you want it to. So, you're just going to try to make things happen. Please, don't Hagar. Don't force it. Hagar is a verb. Don't grab a wrong way to get a right thing done. You'll pay for that mistake for a long, long time.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - No Way There's No Way - #4650
Right now you might be facing a seemingly impossible situation and you're shaking your head like the Jews at the Red Sea and you're saying "No way." Then there's this unexpected whisper from God's heart to yours: "Way." He's just trying to assure you that He will make a way through mighty waters that seem overwhelming and unmovable - through the desert, a place where there seems to be no resources.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Dynamite Praying - #4211
A prayer meeting and an explosion. You know, maybe those should always go together. Consider the model prayer meeting in Acts 4, beginning with verse 24. It's our word for today from the Word of God. The powerful council that had arranged for Jesus' crucifixion has now ordered Jesus' disciples to shut up about Jesus - or else. Peter and John reported this to the believers - a very volatile situation. Here was their response.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Finding Out When You Need To Know - #4220
It's not uncommon in the military - you get your orders on a "need to know" basis. It's not uncommon in God's army either. In fact, it God's modus operandi. Of course, like the military on those ships with the mystery destination, we think we need to know right now! But our Commander reveals our orders when He thinks we need to know. He won't reveal your ultimate destination, but he'll always make sure you know what you need to do today.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Eight Questions to Get it Right - #4748
When you go for God's insight, when you have God's insight, it produces a truly humble person, not a proud person. No looking down on others, putting down others, proceeding in arrogance and self-reliance. Wise people are very unimpressed with themselves and totally impressed with God and their need of Him. So go for the wisdom that gives you God's perspective on what's going on. And for all those you influence, you will be a personal agent of the ways of God in their lives!

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - When the Target's on Your Back - #4271
The decapitation strategy makes sense militarily. If you can take out a leader, you've probably neutralized those who look to that leader. It's a strategy the devil has been using for a long time. Jesus knew what a rock, what a leader Simon Peter would one day be for Him. But on the eve of Peter's denial of his Lord, Jesus told him, "Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you..." (Luke 22:31-32) If you're serious about following Jesus, if you're in a position to influence others for Him, you can be sure Satan wants to sift you as wheat.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Full Speed Ahead in the Wrong Direction - #4298
I hate to say it, but I think I've done that with God sometimes. Probably you have, too. God has some stern words for those of us who tend to be pretty strong-willed, determined-to-get-there kind of people. Being determined, goal-oriented, full of drive can be a great, even God-given, thing. But it's all too easy for us to go darting out of the driveway and proceeding full speed ahead in the wrong direction.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Only Applause that Matters - #4819
It's called "Please Disease" - spending so much of your life trying to please others. But there's never enough applause. There's never enough approval. And somewhere in all the pleasing, you lose yourself and you lose the pleasure of the only One who can satisfy your heart - your Lord Jesus who died so you could live for Him!
