  1. Sammy says:

we christians should worship our lord in spirit and truth

  2. Chris says:

@Sammy Absolutely! One of the things I like about FarsiPraise is how they’re working to make sure that everyone can worship God in spirit and in truth in their native tongue.

  3. Velmawhite says:

Another way to worship God outside the church, is by loving our neighbors, when we see a need, we should share what the Lord has blessed us with. Sometimes we have clothes in our closets we may never wear again, someone could use those clothes. The Holiday season is very hard for some people, so we could invite someone to dinner who is less fortunate or we could share one of our Turkeys or Ham with a family who can’t afford one. Jesus said love your neighbor as well as yourself, who is your neighbor? The one who needs your help the most.

  4. Andy says:

Velmawhite, those are some wonderful ideas. We all have many resources and opportunities to help those in need, although it’s easy to overlook them. Like you say, we’ve all got a few clothes, or a seat at the holiday dinner table, that could be given to somebody in need.

    Don’t run from your trials.
Everyone faces many trials; however, these trials are not in vain. God uses them to do a work in us, developing us into matu…re Christians.

In James 1:2-4, we are told, Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. In other words, God uses the tough times in life to sharpen us, making us mature and complete Christians.

Furthermore, God will not permit you to remain in the same trials all of your life; in His proper timing He will deliver you. Psalm 34:17 says, The righteous

  6. jamie17 says:

praise helps you overcome your troubles and bring through your trials
lift god up in the goodtimes and bad ones too.you should always have true worship in your hearts also.

  7. jamie17 says:

do not just praise with your mouth, have worship in your heart and mind. give god your all.dont just praise when all is well.also praise him in the storm.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
