David the King Part 2
After Ishbosheth id killed, David rules over all of Israel. He makes Jerusalem his capital. It is know as the City of David. He sees Bathsheba taking a bath and commits adultery with her. He then has her husband Uriah killed. Nathan the Prophet confronts David and he repents. Solomon is born.

David has four hundred men as he runs from King Saul. Saul comes into a cave where David and his men are hiding, but David will not kill the Lord's anointed. Saul asks a witch to call up Samuel who had died. Saul and Jonathan are killed in a battle with the Philistines and David becomes king.

Samuel anoints David the son of Jesse to be the next king of Israel. David plays the harp for King Saul. David kills the giant Goliath with a sling and a stone. Saul is jealous of David and tries to kill him. Jonathan protects David, but David has to flee for his life.

The Handsome Foolish King
Samuel was old and his sons wicked. The people wanted a king. God give them Saul the son of Kish. Saul rescued Israel from the Ammonites, but he did not fully obey God. He kept King Agag of Amalek alive and offered a sacrifice to God which only the priest could do. God rejected him from being king.

Ruth A Love Story
Elimelech and Naomi go to Moab, where their sons marry and then die. Naomi becomes a widow, and returns to Israel with Ruth, the widow of one son. Ruth used to worship idols, but now loves Naomi and the true God. She meets and marries Boaz. Their son Obed was the grandfather of King David.

Gideons Little Army
God calls Gideon a mighty man of valor. Gideon will rescue Israel from the Midianites. Gideon uses a fleece to test God's will, and it is dry one morning and wet the next. God lowers Gideon's army from 32,000 to 300 men, so He will get the glory, and they defeat the enemy with trumpets and torches.

Samson, God's Strong Man
Samson is a Nazarite to God. The Philistines are afraid of his great strength. Delilah tricks him to reveal the source of his power. Samson's hair is cut off, and he is captured and put in prison. God gives him his strength one more time and he pushes 2 pillars down on himself and many Philistines.

Joshua sends two spies into Jericho. Rahab hides them and lets them escape by a scarlet cord. God parts the Jordan River. The people march around Jericho for six days. They march seven times on the seventh day and blow their trumpets and the walls fall down. All Canaan hears of God's power.

Forty Years English
Israel complains. God gives them quail and manna. Moses goes up the mountain to receive the 10 commandments. Israel sins and makes a golden calf. Ten spies bring a bad report about the promised land.
