The Right Word For Sex - #6544
When the physical starts to be strong in a relationship, it will often mask the weaknesses in that relationship. Many people have married the wrong person because their passion blinded them. They were kept from really ever knowing the other person, and they made a life-long mistake. Remember, the Inventor always knows best, and the Inventor of sex knows best: two people in a lifetime knowing experience.

The Rewards of Not Moving - #6497
Most importantly, follow Christ patiently, doggedly, stubbornly every day for a lifetime. Even when you can't feel anything, when you can't hear His voice, it is the loyal followers of Christ who see Him as nobody else does.

The First Church of "Yeah But"
God's Word on any subject is the final word. You'll know that eventually, after your "yeah, but" leads to heartache, disappointment, and shame. Face the truth now. Don't deceive yourself by twisting God's Word to fit what you want. Change your situation to fit God's Word. You don't pull the island of God's Word to the boat of your ideas. You pull the boat to the island.

High Water and High Walls - #6444
Two people living for themselves, or even for each other, honestly it just isn't enough to hold back the flood. It takes two people living together for the God who loves them. Praying together often, drawing closer to each other as they draw close to Him. He's a God whose love runs strong when our love runs low. He pours out His inexhaustible, unconditional love, so we then have it to give to the one we've pledged our life to.

Effective communication: Robin Hood wedding march went wrong
Effective communication has many strands. One is listening, asking questions and checking for feedback that the message we communicate is actually understood. A couple in UK arranging their marriage service requested the organist to play 'the Robin Hood theme' for the bride to come up the aisle. This was readily agreed to. No problems. Here's what they wanted...

True Woman: The Dying Institution of Marriage
What does the actress Cameron Diaz have in common with Dr. Keith Ablow, a psychiatrist and member of the Fox News Medical A-Team? They’re both publicly recommending that we chuck the “dying institution of marriage.”

True Woman: I'm a Better Leader
At one particularly difficult time during our marriage, my husband threw up his hands in exasperation and said, “I tell you what we’re going to do! From now on you do what you want to do and I’ll do what I want to do. I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you about who’s going to lead this family!”

True Woman: When HE Gets It Right
One of the strongest objections I’ve heard over the years from wives goes something like this: “He’s not right! He doesn’t love me like Christ loved the church. Why would I submit to him? When he gets his act together, I’ll think about it.”
