"Born again" in the Bible: John 3:1-21
TERRIE says: what does it mean to be born again?

Ungodly in the Bible - a Christian perspective
BE says: I have heard many times that because God is holy, He cannot look on sin, and that He sees only Jesus' righteousness in us that Jesus imparted to us when he died for our sins. If this is accurate, how is it that God sees our sins, knowing everything we think and do? I cannot find scripture that says God can't look on sin. Thank you for your help.

Study in the Bible: John 5:37-40
Andy says: I haven't read the RC Sproul book that Greg mentions, but I'll second his recommendation of Packer's "Knowing God." It's a classic and highly recommended.

Why should we study the Bible? - Into Thy Word Ministries
Frank says: Well true if your a Christian but I'm a Catholic. Well i use to be one since its been a while that I've visited Sunday Mass. So i can't really call myself one according to my Religion. Which really every religion has their "traditions," but i feel if you just try and do your best by what the readings in the, Holy Bible says, then I really feel there's nothing to be Scared of. "Where only human" which by some this saying is just an excuse, but if you really think about it, we make mistakes way more often than one considers. When judgement day does come, like the readings say, then realy no one truly in their minds will be positive if they will be part of the Salvation. Thank you for reading but remeber, this is just my opinion. Thanks, Frank

Sting - a Christian perspective
ylopez says: Im trying to explain to someone that "once saved always saved" is not just it, that repentence is a daily thing and that if you die with sin in your life (even after you've been saved) and don't repent there's a very BIG chance heaven won't be their home. Im not trying to judge or anything because thats no my place nor anybodys, but Gods and his alone. Im looking for verses that would help me back up what im trying to explain.

For Better or Worse: Marriage When It's Tough

Rapture in the Bible: 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
Kat V says: This passage has confused me some. By asleep, we mean physically dead, correct? So does this mean that a christian physical death today does not translate to being in heaven today?

Lessons with Questions on "With Christ in the School of Prayer" by Andrew Murray
Iona Morton says: I need more help with the lessons each week. More scripture or something other than a lesson each week. Is there a book that goes along with the prayer?

Baptized in the Bible: Mark 16:16
shelly says: I keep hearing that baptism is only a symbolic representation of Christ's death and that it is an act of obedience...not an act that results in the forgiveness of sins or an act that completes the salvation process. But according to Mark 16:16, it is linked with belief for salvation. Yet other verses in the book of John speak only of belief for salvation. I'm confused as to which is the correct interpretation. Common sense tells me that obviously you must believe first prior to any commitment in baptism, but verses like Mark 16:16 lead me to believe that following your confession of faith, you should be baptized...and not put it off for the sake of family to witness the event, etc.
