Out of the overflow of the mouth the heart speaks - a Christian perspective
Junior Jacobs says: I feel that what is in the heart does influence all our thoughts and actions!!!! Thru AA and my recent study of the Bible, I have become aware of the value of confession, it is thru confession of God's power and the things He has done in our lives, that we reinforce our faith, that God does work in our lives. Also the confession of sins, or lapses in our moral principles, aids us in the reducing, guilt, doubt, resentments and those things that could keep us seperated from God.

How Should a Christian Respond to “Gay Marriage”? - Answers in Genesis
danielson5000 says: I think that a true christian should react to this issue with tolerance. Not with hate or disgust or anything of that sort like it is being done by most christians. As a christian, i accept gay marriage as a way that the world is changing. I accept homosexuality not as just a way of life, but as a way people are born. There is nothing anyone can do about it. You may not like it or agree with it but that doesnt give any one the right to take away someone elses right to marry the one they love just like any herterosexual couple. It does say in the bible that we should not pass judgement on any one and i see that happening everywhere with Christians. It also says to practice tolerance and that is definitely not being done by a large majority of the christian population. With the passsing of Prop 8, it shows how much power the church has in the state. Now that may sound not too bad but it is. Too me it looks like christian views are being forced onto other people and saying that the way they carry themselves is ungodly or wrong. Whatever happened to a free country? i guess that doesnt exsist any more.

Rapture in the Bible: 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
Christine says: Craig: Where do you get "secret" rapture? Other versions say, 'blast of the trumpet'. Blast is defined as a sudden very loud noise. Kat: Romans 8:38-39 (New International Version) 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Death can't separate God from His children but it isn't until the rapture (forceful grabbing or snatching) that we are given new bodies and taken into heaven.
