Fear Not in the Bible: Isaiah 41:10
A recurring message throughout the entire Bible is that God's people do not need to be afraid of anything, because He is ultimately in control of all things. Whether it's a minor life setback or a seriously frightening situation, Christians are called to face it without undue fear, trusting in God.

Fear in the Bible: 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear can be a good thing when it's protecting us from physically harm or a truly poor decision, but fear, worry and anxiety are never excuses for not doing what God has for us. God promises us a spirit of power, love and self-discipline in exchange for our spirit of timidity if we only trust in Him.

Devotional : Asking God For Help Part 3 - Worry and Anxiety
In this final devotional in the series, we look at the role anxiety plays in our surrender to God. Whenever we find ourselves worrying about the outcome of conflict or crisis, it's an indication that there is something we have failed to do, or something we need to stop doing.

Finding Hope in Troubled Times
Where do you find hope when things look bleak? Times are tough, and many job hunters find themselves feeling overwhelmed by fear. And no wonder! Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A 'No Fear' Christmas - #8165
...even with a falling messenger, that’s still an important message of Christmas. The Bible says, “The angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy…a Savior has been born to you’” (Luke 2:10-11). Notice, “Do not be afraid.” That message seems especially important this Christmas. A lot of our personal finances are full of fear right now.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Steady Light

You need a steady light that gives you something that you can count on in the darkness. ... The Word of God in John 8:12 says, "Jesus said, 'I am the light of the world, whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of Life.'" Jesus said, "I am the light." Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Shadow That Scares Us
There's a big shadow that has bothered all of us at one time or another. To be honest, it can be a pretty scary shadow. You see that shadow sometimes when you're in the doctor's office, when you have a close call, or when you've been to the funeral of someone you know. It is, of course, the shadow of death.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Halloween-Real Monsters - #8131
I’m actually talking about that monster in your closet. Not the ones that you used to imagine were in there; the ugly stuff from your past that you’ve tried to keep in a closet where you wouldn’t have to face it. See we’ve all got those monsters, stuff we think is too scary or too shameful to deal with, but that’s a mistake.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - When 'Charge!' Beats 'Retreat' - #5683
Well, maybe right now you're facing a big risk, or a big job, or a big setback, or a big threat, and everything in you and around you is signaling, "Retreat!" Your fears are great, you're feeling discouraged. Remember, God's ancient people made their biggest mistake turning away from the Promised Land because they were afraid and they got discouraged. You'll probably miss God's best if your eyes are on the circumstances or your feelings.
